Our scars

We go through Life collecting wounds; some big, some small, some excruciating, others mild. Those scars that we wear on our hearts are the precious gifts that we give to the people we love so dearly. They are mementos of the spaces we once belonged to and they represent our honour in fighting for what we believed heart and soul in. Our lives are made up of these special little nicks and cuts.

Scars are wonderful gifts from the Universe to help us grow and actualise into our higher selves. They happen only because we gave in complete trust. The bigger our scar, the more authentic we were.

For in so living an honest life, we accept the torrent of pain that comes with wide, open arms, knowing that it was all simply part of the plan. Surrender is surely Love’s second name.

So right now, look at your scar, say a big thank you and give it a tight, warm hug, knowing that you were a brave and honest soul who lived Life authentically and courageously.
